Botanical Testing

To ensure the purity and safety of Botanical products, manufacturers monitor for the presence of mycotoxins such as aflatoxin and ochratoxin A. Botanical and herbal products are subject to global regulatory limits as low as 10 parts per billion (ppb) for ochratoxin A, and 2 ppb for aflatoxin B1 for edible products. VICAM offers on-site detection systems and laboratory methods for quantitation and confirmation to meet regulatory limits for mycotoxins.
