VICAM believes that we can be of service not only by providing quality products, but also by providing quality information. In that vein, VICAM proudly provides publishing and distribution support for the independent publication, Mycotoxicology Newsletter (MTNL), so that it can be distributed free of charge to all interested parties.
Since its inception, the MTNL has had a long history as one of the foremost international forums for the discussion of mycotoxins, naturally occurring contaminants of foods, feeds, fruits, nuts, and grains. Upon being awarded the sponsorship of the MTNL, VICAM chose Dr. Angelo Visconti, current director of the Institute of Sciences of Food Production and one of the world’s most prominent experts on mycotoxins, to be its editor, thus raising the profile of the MTNL. Since VICAM took over the MTNL and instituted aggressive distribution, its circulation has tripled to over 4,000 recipients and continues to grow. Additionally, VICAM has assisted Dr. Visconti in launching a separate, unique website entirely devoted to the MTNL (www.mycotoxicology.org).
